"I really enjoyed this portrait commission as I hadn't done much artwork over the summer and it was nice having this to do to get me back into the swing of things. It's quite an unusual pose for a pet portrait, compared to my previous works. But I actually think it makes the portrait more interesting, so I may start accepting a wider range of photos when people place their commission orders."
